And since She Always told me, "Eat Good Food" , Cook from scratch, from your heart, and everything will always taste good , I came up with this as my theme.

By today's standards, high in calories and cholesterol, but, combined with the right foods, and ate in moderation,
Real Home Cooking is Always the Best.

Big on Butter, but, More Importantly, BIG on LOVE!

I Added, "Eat Good Food"on each Measuring Spoon

I Won! I Won! Lucky Me! I Won

Let's Just Say....I Never Win Anything, Well, only once before, now that I think about it. It was back in 1981 when I was a Junior in High School. I went to my Local TV Station , Chanel 7 - WXYZ ,( maybe you can see the show her, on The Best Of archives hosting site) in the audience taping of a Show called, Kelly and Company. I went with my best friend Debbie, her Mom and My Mom. Anyway, can't remember what the show was about, but, I do remember , my friend and I were dressed like praire girls, with long ruffly skirts, and cowbirl boots...don't remember why,...hmmmm....must of been the Theme of the show or something. But, as it went, under my seat a card with a random number, when a caller to the show was asked to pick a number, low and behold, it was mine. To my surprise, John Kelly, and His Wife, Marilyn Turner, the married TV Hosts, , Celebrities at the time in my town, anounced the Grand Prize of a Garage Door Opener. Well, needless to say, my parent's didn't have a Garage and well, Let's just say, I should of been put on the Oscar List for Best Actress in a "real life" drama.
I smiled, and was polite, and acted excited on live television. At least that's what my mom says. Love You Mom!

But, this time, my Joy is Real! Thanx to Lara Harris, I have finally won something I can use!

The Copy of Flea Market Style and a Giclee print of my choice from Lara Harris, By Lara Harris, Wow! Now That's A Good Prize!

Thanx Again Lara, for the generous Giveaway!

Here is the Glicee Print I Picked from her Etsy Shop

This will look Lovely when I hang it within a Vintage Frame in my Make-up Area of My Boudoir, will post this on my At Home Blog as soon as it's in. Can't wait to show you.

The magazine arrived at the perfect time, with these warm spring like 50's kind of days, I'm able to sit in my TinCan Cottage and Craft and Read again...

Well Back to my magazine, and working on my Tag Swap, Tags....until next time,

Have A Sunshiny - Winning Kind of Day!

The Latest In My Creative Adventures!

Hi, One of my New Years Resolutions was to bring Art into my life. Either by my hand, or by all the talented gals out there.

Currently, I am working on my "Crafty Side" by joining in on Elizabeth of Creative Breathing Blog, in a Vintage Tag Swap. I tend to jump in to things head first ") and boy , this one is a doozy with 13 total tags to be made. Pheww! Of course, my dear creative Elizabeth is already past these tags, and working on her fourth or fifth adorable project. You just have to stop by and see her in action! She is Truly, my Crafting Hero and Mentor!

These talented ladies, either, crafters , quilters, or full blown artists, Inspire me to create something every day I am in Awe of their creative talents. They inspire me in one way or another. In an attempted search for my own talents , whatever that will be. "D Haven't found it yet 'D. I look to them as inspiration in my attempts at finding my own voice in this Creative Life.

Here is one of my other Favs, Her name is Lara Harris, these are just a few of here latest works of art, and my current favs! Coincidentally, she is from the wonderful state of Michigan. Wait til you see her portraits, they have a vintage flair to them, realistic with a whimsical charm. I just adore her style! Vignettes of all things pretty; from chairs, to portraits of women, oh, and I can't forget her dog portraits. She captures each different dog breed with as much realism as a photograph, In fact, Lara has just won WBRK Westie Radio," painting below, Won for Best Entry Depicting a Dog From the Terrier Group at the 2010 Art Show at the Dog Show!

Check out her Blog links out for yourself. Wait til you see them! Lara sells on Etsy, and does private commissions as well. And by the way, Lara just so happens to be having a "Giveaway", although it does end tomorrow, Friday, March 5th. "D Sorry so late :D

You can find Lara mentioned in the Flea Market Style magazine, which is on newsstands now. And featured on Flea Market Style Blog right now. You can read about her there, or you can follow her blog through this link
She is so friendly and came right over to say Hi when I dropped by to say I found her lovely artwork. Stop by and take a look for yourself, who know, maybe she will inspire your creative side too!

Hope you have found your Creative side or find inspiration by one of the wonderful gifted Artists among us in blog land.
