My First Rally ....Maybe....?

Where Am I Headin' You Say.....

Hint...It's A Trailer Rally...

Tin Can Tourists Vintage Trailer Rally
At Port Crescent State Park

This Would be My First Vintage Trailer Rally...I've wanted to go ever since I read about them over Three Years ago when I bought my Trailer...I am Sooo...excited to finally get the chance to go to one here in Michigan....

There's Only One Small Hitch...well a couple of "hitches", including the hitch "D

See, I would have to get the trailer on the Hitch, and back it out of my driveway...and to Port Crescent State Park Three Hours from My House....By Myself, My Husband had to go out of town for a Job..:(..But, I really want to Go!...and I' am an Independent Women...A women . of Today...
well, let's not go crazy here..."D...but, " darn- it" I Really want to go...

..Hmmmm...(thinking to myself here...)

Never Hitched it to the truck myself, never , back'd it in or out of a parking space..
Am I up for it?...Well let me go out and see, I have watched my husband several times...how hard can it be...."D

I will let you know...I have to practice , to get there Friday early afternoon...

What Do You Think? Should I give a Go On My Own?

I will be back later today to let you know what I decide "D

  2. Hey Christine. You go girl!!! If I was there I would go with you and I've never been camping. Yeah, that's pretty embarrassing to say at 50. But if you grew up in hot, mosquito filled Florida you'd understand. ha-ha! But really you should go. I'll be cheering you on all the way. You'll be living my dream just picking up and doing it all by yourself. I bet you have a blast too!

I came by to tell you how cute your Grand Haven postcard is. I had so much fun with E's swap especially when the mail came with all these beauties. Thank you!

    Hugs...Tracy :)

P.S. I hope you come by and enter my blogiversary giveaways that I'm having this month. One is listed already.

  3. Go for it! You can do it! After all, you are a Woman of Today-- so there you have it.
Get a friend to help guide you when you back up. When you get there, there will be lots of nice pro camper people there that will be glad to help the newbie. I'm sure of it. Camping folks are nice folks-- especially at an event like that.
So, Woman of Today... go for it-- and have a great time!
    Hugs,
    Jill

  5. Well, you go and you have FUN! It's all a learning experience, so long as no. I think it's great that you are hauling and parking your trailer, little bumps or not! Besides, my family camped at Port Crescent several times when I was a little girl, and it's gorgeous.
