My New - Shabby Chic Look - Let's Go Glamping!

My Updated  Look ...

The Changes are Big and Small...
Some BEFORE...

Before Any Slipcovers at All...

Then...my Mary Engelbreit beginnings...

Painted the Chandelier I had already, originally, brown/antique finish...
Painted it out White to go with my Shabby Chic Look

I had "new" Slipcovers made from "old" Vintage Chenille Bedspreads that were passed down
to me from from My Grandmother
Thanx to Donna at Vintage Chic Furniture out of Schenetchty , New York
(Click on Vintage Chic Furniture or see Link on my left sidebar)
I found her through....Etsy....of course....
I love the way they turned out...

Still need a couple Pillow Inserts....smooshy...

All the Curtain Tie-Backs
These were made from the vintage bedspread I sent...so Frilly...

Changed out the candle light holders on the chandelier paper tubes, painted the "dollar store" wicker shade covers white and just photo copied prints of the curtain fabric put on the tubes and decoupaged around...
photocopied fabric pints and re-framed them to pick up fabric in the kitchen

Some Kitchen Views
Added two vintage clip-on earrings to the tiebacks at the kitchen Curtains...and My Love for Topiaries comes into my Trailer...
I have one in almost every room of my home..
Inside and Out...Can't seem to get enough of them...
Can

notice the two Vintage syroco scrolled candle sconces...on either side of the couches
...they were gold as found, took off the candle holder, shabby chic'd them out white and set them on their side
to add a nice scrolled decorative touch to match the mirror and shelf adding some white to
bring everything together

Love Bird Salt and Pepper Shakers, not vintage...but lovely just the same

Some scrap fabric I had in my stash
just enough to cover my micro-wave and basket of pots and pans

Vintage Avon Parakeet and Canary Perfume Bottles
I just love how the light shines through them...

Look at this lovely Shabby Chic hanging  organizer I found
It Really comes in Handy for all the essentials...like toothbrush, paste, shampoo, cream and such

Outside View from the Back...notice my New "TinCan Cottage" decal...
purchased it from a lovely seller on Etsy, of course

My Outdoor Kitchen

Still need an outdoor rug....still looking for just the perfect one...

First Glamping Trip of the Season Earlier this Month....
Next trip will by the week after Fourth of July Weekend ...

Thanx for Stopping by

  Have a Wonderful Holiday Weekend

Christine

  1. Oh Wow, this is great!! Love the colors (blue is my fav)...and the white slipcover is excellent :) I like that you left the walls brown but still did shabby chic...I've wanted to leave mine brown 'cause I hate cleaning all the white, but wondered what it would look like. This gives me great inspiration - thanks!

  9. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your trailer. It is absolutely adorable! I love how feminine it is. You've done an amazing job. Thanks for stopping by my blog..I'm so inspired by yours. Still learning all the blogging etiquette but may I "grab" your button? I know that sounds a little kinky, but is that the appropriate question to ask when wanting to use those cute little buttons on someone's blogs? Thanks again for stopping by my blog and saying hello. I look forward to more inspiration.
