Try out McKlinky by adding your "Roses Are"comment... and add your blog link...who knows, maybe you'll make a few new friends:D

Meanwhile....Back on the TinCan Cottage Trail....

Here are my latest Interior Decor Pics
I have made a few revisions and downsized....slightly....well, not really, but when I added something new, I took out something old
Most of the new knicknacks are from my "Garage Sale " Anniversary trip
What Treasures I found!

A few months ago, Jennifer Pagnelli sent me this fabric , the red and white pillow on the right, Gratis..that's french for, "Really Kind Women!":D...What A Wonderful thing to do! I'm blown away by her generosity! :D
Thanx Again Jennifer!

Jennifer Pagnelli's fabric line is called, "Sis Boom". Have you seen her designs? Oh My! If you haven't, your missing out! She has wonderful talented people all around her and she sells patterns to make women s and childrens dresses, and what better fabric for a vintage whimsical apron and purses. quilts and pillows too. I will be adding more of her wonderful fabric throughout my tincan cottage.
Click on her link on the right to her shop and blog and see for yourself why I'm Hooked on her fabric!

Heres' another view of this beautiful fabric, It's the Red and White Pillow in front...I'm also using it to cover the microwave

And next to the Microwave, we finally bought a refrigerator...yeah:D...and the best part is, we I found it at my local Salvation Army, brand new, marked 44.99, but with the 25% off sale that day, I bought it for 33.25...WOW, now that's a deal!

I put a spice rack over the counter and added milk glass spice jars, these things I already had
to the right is a garage sale trail find, a vintage cutting board that reads Friday Gardening, I just love the graphics and her red polka dot dress, too cute! Hanging next to it is a vintage tea strainer

Vintage Flower broaches...I'm starting a collection on my curtains, when we were shopping on the road, it made it real easy to just pin them on and away we went! Just what I needed, a New Collection "D

here's another one...:D

I bought the boot (my utensil holder) and the apple and strawberry plaques on the trail, oh, and don't forget...that tiny little mouse coming out of an apple on the sink side...I couldn't resist!

Here a Couple of Garage Sale Trail Treasures I added over each window
You see my theme here, kind of a Floral and Bird thing going on
My House (the one without the wheels) is the same way
You can see pictures of my home under, at home on my Sidebar

quarter here, fifty cents there, a couple of dollars here, a few more dollars there...
It's all good...and all in good Fun!

Well...that's what I tell my husband anyway "D)

Thanx for stopping by!

It's Good To Be Safe At Home!

"There's nothing half so pleasant as coming home again.” Mary Elizebeth Sangster

"When you're safe at home you wish you were having an adventure; when you're having an adventure you wish you were safe at home” Thornton Wilder

Let me start by saying HELLO and Thanx! to all you gals that have sent encouraging words throughout my " Hit or Miss" blogging.
I really didn't mean to, I just never seemed to make the time to do it! How'z that for the truth ;D! That's Me , being Christine... I'm like that...:D...
But now that summer has officially wound down,; Labor Day has come and gone, Kids and my " College Kids" are back to school, and things seem to take on a slower pace, I have begun to miss blogging itself, and all you wonderful gals who seem to have it all organized, from their Day Jobs, selling on Etsy, Crafting, running a household , taking time for themselves and their families, and still keep up on their blogs! Phew, my hats So Off to you! Tell me your Secrets!
Through this world of blogging, I have found that I am not as Organized as I thought! :D
That's ok for me, but, I really don't ever want to hurt any ones feelings by just going away....and that I did :D, Sometimes it takes work to being a friend, not in a bad way...but, others feelings are very important to me, and I do feel bad for not keeping in touch, I did'nt realize how many friends I had til I dropped off for a while ;D, I So Very Much Appreciate All Your Good Wishes and Heartfelt Words!

Well , I'm back, If you'll have me...:D, I Hope I can pass on some Fun and a Smile to all you gals out there that think my blog was worth a visit!

Thanx Bunches!

A Bundle of Hugs and a Bushel of Smiles to you All!

Christine

Busy Week ~ Thrifting and Crafting ~ Home & Blog Neglect!

~~~ Bewitched ~~~
When I was growing up in the late sixties, early seventies, The Show Bewitched was my Idea of the Perfect Housewife!:D I know that sounds crazy, but I loved her Home the way she always had breakfast and dinner always prepared for Darin , (loved David York's version of the character the best!) :D Through her own hand or by magic, It just was how I wanted my home to look, and that lifestyle was what I wanted to have for myself and my family. Well, let's just say, it doesn't always look like that around here!;D
In Case you were wondering where I went, I have been So busy this week with my "Tiny" Giveaway, and of course, taking a lot of breaks for Thrifting I have neglecting my little Blog!:(
I Hope someone is still hanging on out there ;D! For those of you who are:
My Trailer Update is that we cut-out and laid the sisal tile but I have decided that this will not be a permanent floor, but something that can come-up to clean. (we won't be gluing or nailing it) I think this will work out for cleaning purposes and I actually love the original floor which is beige pink with specs of yellow and aqua throughout, and is in pretty good condition with the exception of the door area. So this will be a good fix.
I have ordered several replacement parts, such as the two large red break light covers for back , and two yellow side light covers. Door Handle w/lock.
My Husband says he will start painting 2nd week of May...cross your fingers..If I can just keep him motivated, I'm shooting for the big reveal first week of June!
Meanwhile, Instead of doing housework this week, ;D, I have been Crafting, and Thrifting, and scheming of additions to my Blog. I have decided to add a sidebar item while I wait for something new to show on my trailer. Home & Garden , I will blog whenever I'm not thrifting or crafting, or doing housework ;D, I will blog about my Not So Spic and Span Home, remember, "Clean enough to be Healthy , But Dirty enough to be Happy!" That's My Motto! I am easy on Myself , and my family about the Home chores, but, unfortunately we will not pass the white glove test! Oh Well! ;D
